APC exemptions and discounts are available to Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology members (faculty members and students) for Open Access publishing (as of April 2025).

【Request for participation with the APC Payment Performance Survey】

・In order to assess the overall University APC payment performance, the library implements an APC Payment Performance Survey.
In order to help us consider electronic journal contract plans and future support measures in accordance with actual University payment performance, we request participation in this survey when APC is paid.

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM Open, a transformative agreement model)

• Eligible journals：ACM Open eligible journals, meeting minutes (for more information, click here)

・The Corresponding Author must be affiliated with the University and submit the paper with the University as their primary institutional affiliation.

・At the time of submission, the e-mail address domain must include "tuat.ac.jp" (if an article is submitted from another domain name, it will not be eligible for ACM Open, and revisions, etc., cannot be made at a later date, so please use the proper domain name).

Elsevier (transformative agreement model)

Starting in April 2025, we introduced the transformative agreement that covers APC and e-journal subscription fees. With this agreement, the APC for academic papers that meet the conditions is free of charge. For more information, click here(on-campus only).
