Service Guide for Visitors
Those who need TUAT library materials for academic research or study are able to read and copy them.
Before you visit TUAT Libraries, please check the following contents.

Before you visit TUAT Libraries
- If the materials you need are available for Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services via an institute of affiliation / a public library, please use those services instead.
- Only materials in the library (excluding laboratory materials) can be read and copied. Please check the condition and availability of the materials in advance via Online Catalog (TUAT) .
- ○ Available materials
- The “Status” is not “Out on loan”
- The “Location” begins with words as below
“Fuchu /” or “Fuchu Library”
“Koganei /” or “Koganei Library”

- Please use public transportation to visit the library.
- During the examination period (mid-July to late July, late January to early February), we may refuse to use the library due to congestion.
- Please refrain from visiting if you are feeling unwell.
Notes on Using Library
- Users seeking to use only the facilities or seats will not be admitted.
- Please keep quiet and avoid bothering other users in the library.
There are some areas where students may work together, and conversation is expected.;
University Library (Fuchu): Main Building 2F
University Library (Koganei): Group Study Room, 3F of North Building
Note that you may hear some noises in areas allowing group/collaborative study. - Mute your mobile phone and refrain from calling.
- Eating in the library is prohibited.
- Drinks in sealed containers can be brought into the library.
- In the case of lost or damaged library material, please report it to the service counter as soon as possible. You may be required to take procedures such as reimbursement.
- Do not take photos inside the library with a camera.
- Keep your valuables with you at all times.
- You may be refused to use the library if you do not follow the instructions by library staff.
