Reservation of library facilities

The group study rooms and work booths at Koganei Library and the work booths at Fuchu Library, can be used for surveying, researching, studying, job interviews, etc. that require speaking aloud.

Making a reservation

Reservations can be made at the "HEYATORI (In Japanese Only)” library facilities reservation system.
Applying via the web and paper form was abolished at the end of December 2024.

Login information

  • Login ID
    The 11 digit number on the back side of the library user card (student card, faculty card, etc.) (The library user number only. The alphabet characters before and after the number are not included.)
  • Password
    The password that the user has chosen.
    The first time you use the system, your initial password is pre-set, so follow the instructions (on-campus only) and change it.
    If you forget your password after changing it, bring your student card and ask for help at the library counter. (Reception hours: 8:45-17:00, weekdays)

Reservation information

  • We take reservations from 31 days before your desired day of use up to directly before use.
  • We cannot take reservations from 23:00 to 7:00 on the following day due to data updates.
  • You can change or delete reservations yourself.
  • Plan time to prepare and time to return the room to its original state into your reservation.
  • Do not use the space for any activities other than its purpose (for example, extracurricular activities such as club meetings or part time work).
  • Continuous, linked reservations by different members of the same group are not allowed.

Usage information

  • Before using, check in at the library counter check in terminal.
    If you have not checked in by 15 minutes after the reservation start time, your reservation will be automatically cancelled.
  • The top of the work booths are open as required by the Fire Service Act, so they are not completely sound proof. Use headphones, earphones, etc.
  • If you wish to check out equipment, request the equipment at the library counter on the day of use.
  • The group study rooms have security cameras and a small window on the doors, and the work booths have glass doors. Some usages are inappropriate for this environment, such as online tests, so please confirm this in advance.
    If it is necessary to cover a window, bring the cover material yourself, and return the window to its original state after use.
  • Eating in the library is prohibited. Drinks in sealed containers can be brought into the library.
  • If you finish using the space early, carry out the usage completion process (check out) via "HEYATORI (In Japanese Only)".
  • After using, turn off the light and leave the door open for air ventilation.
