From April 5th 2023, some services of Fuchu Library have been changed. Please confirm the following information before your visit.
Please note that we may change the services depending on the situations.

○ Eligible users
Faculty, staff, and students of TUAT ※Please see here for users not affiliated with TUAT (In Japanese Only).

○ Conditions for using the library

・Those having any physical discomfort cannot enter the library.

・Use of mask will depend on personal choices.

・Please wash your hands, disinfect your hands with hand sanitizer, and follow proper coughing etiquette.

・Please keep an appropriate distance away from others in the library, and refrain from having conversations between users (except for the 1st Reading Room and Group study rooms).

○ Usage of reading seats, facilities, and equipment

・We will resume the use of Group study rooms 3 and 4.
You can use them for online lectures, interviews, group study, etc. (prior reservations not available)
Hand over your library card and ask for the room key at the service counter.
【Number of users】Up to 4 users per room
【Usage limits】 Only on weekdays, until 5pm. Maximum of 3 hours a day
※Wall sockets are available.
※Please keep the door open for ventilation in the group study rooms.

・We will resume the use of Audio-visual room.

・Following areas are suspended for the time being.
Seminar rooms and Refresh area
However, faculty in case of absolute necessity for your seminar or class is kindly asked to consult the Information Service Section of Fuchu library. (E-Mail: fservice_at_cc.tuat.ac.jp)

○ Returning library materials
Please return library materials to the book post or the service counter. However, books borrowed from other libraries and audiovisual materials must be returned to the service counter.

For the time being, returned materials are kept in a storage area to be left in isolation for a specific period of time for disinfection before going back to the shelf. Please note that they may not be available immediately after return.

Users who cannot come to the library can also return materials of TUAT library by mail or parcel delivery service. See here for further information.

○ Delivery services for users who have difficulty visiting the library
We will provide materials necessary for your study and research. Eligible users those who cannot come to the library only in unavoidable circumstances.
